DementiaCare MyWorld – My World is aimed not only at people living with dementia, but also at managers and staff in the care sector, and those who organize activities for people with dementia. It's a plain ICT platform using mainstream technologies – you don't need to be technically minded.

My world has screen icons like My Music, My Films, My Documentaries, My Hobbies, My Memories and My Family. Once users choose the desired feature it shows a list. It uses dementia friendly technology to create their own world and stay in touch with their friends and family via chat or video facilities or enjoy hobbies or listening to their favourite music. These activities will benefit people with dementia and they will express less anxiety or aggression.

The My Videos section helps to store videos of family members and friends and of special occasions like birthday parties or anniversaries etc., in a single location. The videos can be categorised into Family, Friends, Special occasions and any other occasion which will be memorable for the person. This is also a unique feature of the application where the user can search the internet for their favourite song or audio tracks. Bingo has been shown to have positive effects when played by Alzheimer’s and other person with Dementia. Mind games should be enjoyed every day by people of all ages, so it certainly is age-appropriate; and it is easy to understand and play, so it is stage-specific for anyone except those in the very last stages of the disease. The care plan is a means of communicating and organizing the actions of changing nursing staff. Care Plans provide an easy way to organize and maintain the needs of a patient even between shift changes of the nursing staff. The care plan specifically outlines observations to be made, nursing actions to be carried out and instructions to the client or family members, if necessary.

Customizable Assessment templates enable carers to modify and store assessment templates according to their needs. The system allows basic templates to be amended, or used as is, by furnishing necessary information and saving the changes.
